I am Felipe Martinez-Villalba, an artist from Colombia currently based in Madrid. My academic pursuits encompassed the study of Fine Arts at Central St. Martins School of Art and Design in London, complemented by an exploration of advertising at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo in Bogota. My artistic narrative is centered around a nuanced comprehension of the present state of our world, with a particular emphasis on the symbiotic relationship between nature and humanity.
I am captivated by nature's intricate role in sustaining our existence, as well as our consequential impact on its equilibrium. In my prior artistic endeavors, my focus lay in manipulating materials and light to create expansive sculptures that graced both gallery and public domains. However, my recent trajectory has embraced a fresh direction.
